2014 – Mr. Dionisio Llamazares Fernández, is a State Professor of Ecclesiastical Law. He has worked at the Complutense University of Madrid as well as the Carlos III University of Madrid and is the father of one of the longest-standing lines of thought on religious freedom and conscience in Spain. His work as a professor and as an expert on the subject has allowed the courts to recognize and grant the right to religious freedom of many minorities, who without his good work would still be fighting to have their rights recognized.
